How I can support you
There is no single way to experience change. Counselling offers a confidential space to pause, speak and explore what matters to you.
Space for the whole experience
You may recognise one of these areas, several of them, or simply know that something feels difficult. You do not need to fit your experience into a category before getting in touch.
Limb Loss & Adjustment
Support around the emotional impact of losing a limb and adapting to change.
There may be grief for what has changed, uncertainty about daily life, shifts in relationships or questions about the future. Counselling makes room for your experience without imposing a timeline.
Grief & Loss
A safe space to explore feelings associated with different forms of loss and change.
Loss can be visible or private, recent or carried for a long time. You can speak about what is absent, what remains and the emotions that may be difficult to share elsewhere.
Identity & Self-Acceptance
Support when life changes affect how you see yourself and your place in the world.
A major change can unsettle familiar ideas about who you are. Counselling can offer time to explore identity, self-acceptance and the parts of yourself you want to reconnect with.
Emotional Wellbeing
A space to explore difficult feelings, experiences and personal wellbeing.
You do not need to arrive with a label or a clear explanation. The conversation can begin with what feels most present, confusing or difficult right now.
Life Transitions
Support while navigating significant changes and new chapters.
Change can hold mixed feelings, even when it is chosen or expected. Counselling offers space to pause, notice what the transition means to you and consider what comes next.
A conversation led by what matters to you
You are not expected to arrive with the right words. Sessions can offer time to slow things down, talk openly and notice thoughts or feelings that may have been difficult to hold alone.
Begin where you are
There is no checklist to complete and no need to tell your whole story at once.
Move at your pace
The work can unfold gradually, with space for uncertainty and changing feelings.
Be seen as a whole person
Your experience is more than a diagnosis, a loss or a single event.
Every journey is different.
You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Counselling can provide a space to slow down, talk openly and explore what you are experiencing.
Talk to TamYou are more than
what has changed.
Limb loss can bring grief, uncertainty, changes in identity and confidence, and many different emotions. There is no expectation to “move on” or “get over it”. Support can make room for adjustment, acceptance and finding a new sense of self in your own time.
